When I was raised in the 80s and 90s, the general idea was that if you had half a brain, you were supposed to fixate on Americas flaws and mistakes. You were supposed to define America that way. The past 5 years or so have pulled me in the opposite direction. No, I don’t mean blind allegiance to a flag. I mean that America’s strengths and good features should get just as much weight as its flaws. This podcast is my take on America.
