Scientific Papers That Dispute COVID-19 Policy

COVID-19 policy is essentially identical to what it was in March of 2020 for millions of people despite no shortage of research being done and old studies being found. I have no idea if any of these papers are legitimate or what to do, exactly, with the data.

Full Disclosure: Most of these links were listed in Unreported Truths About Covid-19 and Lockdowns: Combined Parts 1-3: Death Counts, Lockdowns, and Masks. The book is excellent. It simply refers to scientific papers and news reported by “reputable” sources. It’s quite a shock to see how the policy makers followed the science up until March of 2020, give or take, and then decided to run with a new narrative that ultimately took off.

My anxiety around COVID-19 has reduced significantly after reading the above book. There’s no denying that COVID-19 is real. The question is this; How much control over the virus do we have? I have no intentions of going to any rock concerts any time soon, but I’m not going to flush my mental health down the toilet for a virus no one seems to be able to control….a virus that spreads incredibly fast around Thanksgiving 2020 and practically dies for Christmas 2020. It’s hard to make sense of any of it. I place COVID in the same place I put tornados: Be careful, have fun, and a mask probably ain’t gonna save you if mother nature wants you dead.

A List of Scientific Papers and Quotes by Policy Makers

#1: Assessing mandatory stay‐at‐home and business closure effects on the spread of COVID‐19

Highlight: “… there is no evidence that more restrictive nonpharmaceutical interventions (‘lockdowns’) contributed substantially to bending the curve of new cases in England, France, Germany, Iran, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain or the United States in early 2020.”

#2: A cluster randomised trial of cloth masks compared with medical masks in healthcare workers

Highlight: “..as a precautionary measure, cloth masks should not be recommended for HCWs, particularly in high-risk situations, and guidelines need to be updated.”

#3: Filtration Performance of FDA-Cleared Surgical Masks

Highlight: “The wide variation in penetration levels for room air particles, which included particles in the same size range of viruses confirms that surgical masks should not be used for respiratory protection. “

#4: Universal Masking in Hospitals in the Covid-19 Era

Highlight: “We know that wearing a mask outside health care facilities offers little, if any, protection from infection. “

#5: Quote from Surgeon General: “Seriously people- STOP BUYING MASKS! They are NOT effective in preventing general public from catching #Coronavirus…”
