Valentine’s Day Glowing Pulsing Heart

I had gigantic plans of finishing up my LED Cube before Valentine’s Day.  I worked on day and night over Christmas break, but it just wasn’t happening.  I was on pace and then made an 8-hour soldering mistake.  I opted to make a PCB of the LED Cube and just finish it up for Valentine’s Day 2019.

I needed something I could whip together fast, would make the ol’ lady happy, and do something halfway cool for me.  I opted to repeat the ol’ PIR Motion detector that triggers an Arduino Mini Pro to wake it up from sleep.  The LEDs glow brighter and fainter using PWM.  Nothing fancy.

I was especially impressed with the Rustoleum red spray paint.  I can’t stand their always-clogged nozzles, but their paint is incredible.
