Who Is Brandon Drury?

There is something very odd about writing who you are online.  I think this is why I don’t hop on Myspace or Facebook (unless it’s for profit). 

 This site was created to allow friends, family, and potential business contacts a chance to contact me at a site they could actually remember.  I’m using this site as a hub to link to my clients who have paid me for search engine optimization services (the process of actually getting a website to show up in Google). 

 So I’m not going to sit here and tell you my favorite food or the names of my girlfriend’s cats.  (I don’t have any cats!).   However, I may do some bitching about philosophies on politics, beer, and go carts.  We’ll see.  It depends on if I can make a few bucks with this ridiculous idea (having an entire site about me) or not.

 There are a few things that I can do fairly well. 

  • I can do just about anything on the web.  Yeah, it sounds like a bold statement, but with the right amount of time and budget, I can do anything (either doing it myself or outsourcing some of the work).  Do you want a clone of Ebay?  I can do that (without the customers, of course).  Do you want a website that turns on your oven everyday at 5pm?  I can do that. 
  • I’m handy with a microphone.  I’ve recorded and mixed a ton of records.  While I started out doing local demos, my focus in the recording world is now on making a few great records per year that at least have the potential of doing something more.   I’m not interested in a local band who wants to slap down something for $150.  I’m looking for people who want to take their music further these days.
