I’m working on videos for my home recording system, Killer Home Recording , which I’ll sell on my audio recording site , RecordingReview.com.

When looking for After Effects introductory tutorials on Youtube, I found numerous videos that weren’t up to par. Frankly, some of them flat out sucked.

I have no problem with a teenager throwing together a home made concoction, but if you can’t speak well enough to complete sentences (or at least thoughts) you probably shouldn’t post it to the web. Keep practicing. HAVE SOME PRIDE!

Regardless, I found the following tutorials to be outstanding in Getting Started With After Effects.

This blog will discuss why I think Ron Paul CAN win the presidency and why I will be voting for Ron Paul.

I must admit that I hate modern politics. I find it much more pleasing to read the works and understand concepts of yesterday than to be gobbled up by the useless media, emphasis on emotion, and a complete disdain for any of the issues. I expect to hear more of the truth when watching Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer this year that I would from the television media. It could be my unique situation (I haven’t watched the news in my own home in probably 5 years), but when I do watch the news, I find that something just doesn’t make sense.

Here’s the way I see it. From time to time there will be a candidate that maybe has something to say besides (switch voice to sound like royalty) “This suit is expensive. My fake smile is incredible”. When that person speaks up with real substance, some people jump up and say “He makes too much sense to win”. I realize this person is just venting their frustration with the peers that will be voting along side them. However, I think that we do nothing but throw a wrench into the system and derail the future of the country when we use the old cliché “throwing our vote away”.

I would love to know just how many voters out there use “strategy” with their vote. How well has that really worked out for you? Maybe I’m thinking as an idealist, but for the first time in my adult life, I feel like there is a presidential candidate who has views based on solid logic. I am 100% blown away by Ron Paul’s ideas and message. Ron Paul’s views actually incorporate history, actual data, and illustrate that he has bothered to learn from past mistakes. So, to me he is 100,000 times the better candidate. I will ALWAYS vote for the best candidate. (In most elections, candidates are all tied for last place.)

There will always be those who don’t want to “throw their vote away”, but if people voted for who they actually wanted to win, I think it would become more obvious that voting for the candidate you actually want to win IS NOT throwing your vote away. It’s the best investment you could possibly make. The only way to shake up the ineffective two party, two idea system is for the people who want change to vote for change. It’s as simple as that. I think we’ll have more and more converts to a multi-party, multi-idea system as more people stand up and illustrate that the candidate with the best ideas CAN win.

I see it all the time with my recording studio business. Many bands and artists are trying to create a recording that will be appreciated by the fans. In most cases, the bands who do what they want are the most successful. Trying to second guess what the public is going to want is a method that almost never works.

There is an enormous difference between voting for who you like and voting for who you think will win. The first is an effective election. The second is a distorted acid trip that ends up with artificial results that possibly no one wanted. Have the balls to vote for who you actually want to win!

Worst Case
Let’s assume that by voting for your favorite candidate, your guy doesn’t win. We’ve all voted for presidents who didn’t win. We’ve all voted for presidents who DID win and we later regretted voting for them. It’s not the end of the world. However, even if Ron Paul doesn’t win, it’s clear that he is the guy that is pushing for the constitution, for non-intervention, and for a balanced budget. I think by voting for Ron Paul, we are voting on principles.

If enough people take notice that there is a very large demographic of votes who are for the Ron Paul principles, we will encourage more people to vote for these ideas in the next election. We’ll inspire more people to run for office with these ideas. We’ll put the media in a position where they can’t ignore these ideas any longer.

I’ll gladly vote for the Ron Paul candidate each and every time. Eventually, enough people who can actually think will vote for the Ron Paul candidate that the bandwagon will jump in.

Brandon

I’m sickened by:
The same damn politician commercials that have played for at least the last 20 years. I remember telling my Grandpa when I was probably just 10 years old. “These are the same commercials as last year and the year before that. Why don’t they have something new to say?”.

Every presidential candidate stands up at the podium with his pretty hair cut and is clearly doing nothing more than letting the American people hear what they want to hear. This facade that he puts on has nothing to do with what he really thinks or how he will really react to tough situations. In fact, most candidates don’t even really have a position.

Why does every candidate but Ron Paul doing their best to follow the precedent of Goering. (Read about Goering in Albert Speer’s “Inside The Third Reich” and you’ll see the preset politician I’m mentioning)

Why do you hear laughing when Ron Paul mentions the constitution? Why aren’t all the ethnocentric retards screaming and yelling?

The sickening level of blind ethnocentrism that exists by the voting public who wouldn’t know what America was really about even if they could read. (Ethnocentrism is the notion that one country is not only the best country, but it’s the center of the universe. One could say it’s like saying “America’s shit don’t stick”.) An idiot politician was outraged when Ron Paul suggested that it may anger a person in a foreign when America invades that person’s country. Is Mr . Idiot politician brain dead? If we were bombed by another country, I think we would be pissed. Why is it so difficult to understand that the terrorists of 911 were just as pissed at the US as the US has been pissed at the terrorists?

Every president following FDR has had absolutely no interest in learning from the mistakes of the previous presidents. (Eisenhower is an exception).

Nixon was elected because he had a “secret plan to get us out of Vietnam”. Do you want to know why the plan was “secret”? He DIDN’T HAVE A PLAN!!! The US ate it up. At least I wasn’t born yet. I can’t ima

If The Rolling Stones came out with an album for $60, some people would buy it. It probably wouldn’t go platinum but it would sell. In fact, there would probably be a few people who would buy the album just to see why it’s $60. There is some kind of psychological flaw in humans that just automatically assumes something is worth more because it costs more.

Well, imagine the Rolling Stones changed their name to Guns N Roses and Axl Rose decides that after he has exploited his MEGA DEDICATED fans for $60, he wants to go ahead and drop the price down to $15 to go ahead and sell a few million records to the kind of fan that would buy a Rolling Stones / Guns N Roses album.

Of course, what I’m describing is a sickening exploitation of the MEGA DEDICATED fans. If any corporation (but Apple) tried this, the media and the liberals would completely trash the CEO for being the greedy corporate scum that he is. I’m not exactly swinging too far to the left most of the time, but I’d have to agree. They are clearly exploiting their MEGA DEDICATED fans in an effort to make more cash.

Supply and Demand?
The capitalist in me sees this as a simple issue of supply and demand. When the demand is higher than the supply, the price goes up. We learned that in junior high. Of course, I said the same thing on September 11, 2001 when thousands of people lined up at the gas pumps. The gas stations raised their prices accordingly. Of course, the liberal side screamed “PRICE GOUGING!”. I never really saw it that way, but whatever.

So, the only corporate dude on the planet who can get away with bending over his MEGA DEDICATED fans in prison style naughtiness, Steve Jobs, is doing just that. Steve Jobs has an incredible image. He’s a voice of reason in a sickening corporate setting. He doesn’t think like all those rich republicans fatcats. He cares about the environment. He’s one of “us”.

Iphone Owners, You Were Tricked!
Well guess what Iphone owners! Steve Jobs put a hard one in you when he tricked you into thinking you NEEDED a $600 cell phone. Don’t feel bad. I realize it was part of your “duty” to the environment or free thinking. If you didn’t buy a $600 Iphone, you weren’t doing your part for making America a better place or whatever it is the Macintosh-type people are trying to do. The Iphone was a trap to anyone with the means to buy one and the need to support a good cause.

Well people. I hate to break it to you, but Steve Jobs is just as much of an asshole as any other Corporationey CEO. Apple is no better than Exxon. And the fact that Apple planned to intentionally charge more money to it’s dedicated fan base for no reason other than profit illustrates that Apple is no better than any other corporation. They are not a “cause”. Do not donate to them!

In an effort of good will, Steve Jobs has decided to give a $100 coupon to anyone who actually paid $600 for a cell phone. That was awfully nice of him. He already jacked up the price of a product that you were convinced you “needed” (although you and I both know that no one NEEDS a $600 cell phone) Now, he’ll give $100 back to you for buying yet another Apple product. I wonder if it’ll be jacked up by $200 too.

Conclusion
If you consider Apple products to be of value and have a need for what they provide, knock yourself out. However, if you are looking to be part of some kind of group that “thinks different” or is trying “make the world a better place” you may want to check your wallet directly afterwards.

The truth hasn’t been more distorted by such a sickening authoritarian madman in an effort to win over people who can’t think since Adolph Hitler. “To put it simply, no Darwin, no Hitler,” said Dr. Kennedy, the host of Darwin’s Deadly Legacy.

If you think that the Holocaust occurred because of Darwimian theories, you are doing nothing more than exploiting the deaths of 42,000,000 people and twisting them into some sort of sick lie in an effort to increase your own power. Dr. Kennedy, if there is a god, you will burn in hell! You must have been a witch hunter back in Salem!

While “Dr.” Kennedy may not have even the faintest clue as to how Hitler thought, it sounds like he understood the Nazi marketing methods better than Dr Goebbels himself. Just in case you, like Dr. Kennedy, may not be up on the whole Nazi thing ,Dr. Goebbels was the Minister for Public Enlightenment and Propaganda for the Nazis. He was one of Hitler’s closest associates and one of the top dogs of the Nazi regime. He was, as he is name suggests, the mastermind behind the Nazi “marketing” machine. His influence over the German people is one of the main factors in allowing the sickening events that occurred under Hitler’s rule to take place.

Kindergarten Philosophy
“Dr.” Kennedy’s kindergarten crayon (the thick ones) philosophy of “Hitler = bad, Evolution = bad” is not only an insult to every person who was a victim in some way of Hitler, but it’s an insult to the thousands of people who have dedicated their life to the pursuit through testing and logic…scientists. Just because the Christian world is in constant struggle with those who simply need evidence before believing in something, is not reason to imply that their methods are in any way connected to Hitler.

If “Hitler=bad, Evolution=bad”, what happens when we do this:
(Hilter=bad, Dogs= ?????).

Hitler Loved Dogs

A buddy of mine, Rick Sample (who builds houses for a living), has been bugging me about getting a kick ass website to show off his home buiding business.

It was a big deal to me to build a site that Rick could work himself. Rick may have a mega understanding of studs and insulation, but he’s ALMOST useless on a computer. So, I used a little programming (okay, a lot of programming0 to create a site that he could update 99.9% of the time himself.

I’m a very busy guy and sometimes it’s hard for me to make time to change a mundane detail on a site for a client who may not know how. Well, that has all changed. My programming and site design makes changing, editing, or updating a website about as simple as checking your email at Yaho
