Assuming that Jesus really did float into the sky after he got bored hunting Easter eggs……and
Assuming that Jesus never teleported into another dimension….
It stands to reason that Heaven is a tangible place that we can travel to with either a car, boat, airplane, or more sophisticated technology (such as a spacecraft). If we also assume that aliens have already traveled to Earth from planets far across the galaxy, it stands to reason that the aliens have already been to Heaven.
This may explain (if we ignore possible government coverups) why we have not found any 50s style flying saucers since Roswell. The aliens may have found a place were pot is legal and where you don’t have to use condoms.
Of course, believing in self-aware aliens partying in heaven takes a leap of faith, I guess. Of course, so does completely ruling out The Tomb of Jesus documentary.
I think the Christian world could still believe in the Easter bunny, accept the fact that maybe only Jesus’ spirit resurrected, and maybe assume that there is at least as much human error in the translation of the Bible as the scientists that design DVD players or Minivans.
