Atheist Evidence #23555
Today I had a person unsubscribe from my RecordingReview.com Newsletter. This isn’t a big deal. I have 200 members sign up every day. It’s not rare for a few of them to unsubscribe.
However, this one, tonelight@msn.com, sited the following reason:
“USING THE NAME OF CHRIST JESUS IN A REVIEW OF AN AUDIO MIC PREAMP.”
They say that evil flourishes when good men do nothing. So I’m fucking doing something.
I retaliated with this:
You are a bright shining example of God’s love.
How do you manage the gross rationalization of utilizing all the fruits of empirical thought and scientific method while clinging to your fundamentalist, hate-spreading prejudice? You could at least compromise and cut out the hate spreading part!
I was always lead to believe that Jesus said, “Go out unto the world”. You are supposed to be guiding light of inspiration. You are supposed to be a glowing example to the lost. You are a buffoon. You are socially inept. You, as with a majority of people who are so enamored by the supernatural, are a walking contradiction propelled by little more than self-interest, fear, and hate.
So good riddance. A large reason for the use of my language is to repel those who are unable of tolerance. Think about that for a second. You are unable of tolerance! (ie: Nazis, KKK members, racists, etc) Is that what Jesus would do? What does your magic book say about casting the first stone? Do you really support the institution of “God hates fags”.
Furthermore, I consider this email as just one more bit of evidence to support my atheism. God may be powerful enough to create the universe, but he isn’t powerful enough to convince you to act any better than a hate mongering scumbag?
You worship the wrong, God. I’ll see you in hell.
